They were seen traveling without fear of traffic as they crossed streets in mass floods. Many Chinese sensed the migration as a bad omen of a coming natural disaster, but the Chinese government told them that it was just a natural migration for the purpose of propagation. This calmed the people and no one took the omen very seriously. For years and certainly throughout my training the conventional wisdom (should have been our first clue) was that children, barring those that were breast fed, were better served by iron-fortified infant formula than by formula with low-iron. Traditional iron-fortified formula has approximately 12 mg/L of ferrous sulfate added and it’s weaker brother has a mere 2-3 mg/L 2008-05-15 15:54:36 PDT http://technorati.com/search/reasontreason.com/blog1/2008/05/15/the-formula-for-formula/ 0 0 reasonTreason Pete Ippel’s Art show Featured in SFweekly http://hypermodern.net/archives/pete-ippels-art-show-featured-in-sfweekly/ http://hypermodern.net/archives/pete-ippels-art-show-featured-in-sfweekly/ Thu, 15 May 2008 15:50:19 -0700 I got a really nice writeup Wednesday in the SFWeekly…Thanks to Hiya Swanhuyser for the article. Pete Ippel is a modern exponent of a long-standing tradition: the bro artist. Think of athlete-philosophers like Jack Kerouac, Richie Tenenbaum, both Jack Johnsons, or Muhammad Ali…Ippel surfs, plays basketball, and his video work explores issues such as hands-free noseblowing and how weird it is to have emotions about water. NABs are highly photostable; the absorbed energy is dissipated in the form of ultrafast nonradiative decay. This book highlights the possible mechanisms of these phenomena which is important for all living species and discusses technical challenges in exploration of these processes.
