We've had a great weekend. Inigo was home since Thursday, and Jago came home on Sunday. It's not allowed for Inigo to sit in the sun (because of the chemicals he's getting), but we've got a lot of shadow in our garden, so we managed to spend most of the weekend outside. We barbecued, we slept, finally some days we were allowed to be lazy. And still, today after one day of work and after losing a lot of time on some frustrating problems (they want m 2008-05-14 01:11:45 PDT http://technorati.com/search/www.lowagie.com/maand.php?year=2008&month=5#831 103 163 Bruno Lowagie's Online Gazette Hola, me llamo Iñigo Montoya, tu mataste a mi padre... ¡PREPARATE A MORIR! http://blogs.gamefilia.com/erikadams/13-05-2008/6318/hola-me-llamo-inigo-montoya-tu-mataste-a-mi-padre-preparate-a-morir http://blogs.gamefilia.com/erikadams/13-05-2008/6318/hola-me-llamo-inigo-montoya-tu-mataste-a-mi-padre-preparate-a-morir Tue, 13 May 2008 02:24:22 -0700 Hola, me llamo Iñigo Montoya, tu mataste a mi padre... ¡PREPARATE A MORIR! 13 de Mayo de 2008 • 10:24 — ErikAdams Categorías: cine, clásicos, iñigo montoya, obra de culto, opinión ¡Bienvenidos de nuevo queridos lectores! Yesterday I was with Inigo at the hospital and we were watching the 'Jeugdjournaal' (news for youths) on the Dutch television, and they had some hippo-news: one of the hippo's at the Zoo in Emmen gave birth to twins! Meanwhile Erik from the Paincakes send me a link to the Toledo Zoo in Ohio. You can sponsor a hippo for $600 and you get a PAL Packet including a plush animal and a photo (also an invitation to go to the ZOO, but that would be hard to achieve for Inigo). We've just played "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" at its loudest (the paincakes version of course, not the original version from the fifties) and Brul has been dancing to it. I already talked about Brul a month ago. Brul has been very quiet for a week, but since the day before yesterday, he's more active. Trivial as this small five word sentence may be, it was a major breakthrough for us, for Inigo hadn't been eating for over a week. He's finally getting better! During that week, he hasn't eaten a thing. His weight has dropped drastically and he constantly needed all kinds of extra medication. I couldn't blog about it anymore. Who'd want to read one worse report after the other? Today is the first day he's feeling better. His blood values are improving and his fever is finally gone, but he's still under the influence of some heavy painkillers. He can't go home until his throat has healed. This gave me the opportunity to sleep a little bit longer. I really needed it. I'm exhausted. But haven't I been saying that for the past 8 weeks? Inigo had a good night.
