(This is the best time for photos and video.) \n • This is a water safety event for Kindergarten age children who attend Oklahoma City Schools for Healthy Lifestyles elementary schools. \n • Children learn water safety concepts in the classroom and then are rewarded with a trip to the aquatic center. \n • This event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Water Safety Committee\, which is supported by Pelican Bay Aquatic Center\, Oklahoma City Community College\, area YMCAs\, the State Department of Education\, the State Department of Health\, SafeKids Oklahoma\, Rose State College\, Tinker AFB\, State and County Health Departments\, OKC Fire Department\, the Army Corps of Engineers\, The American Red Cross and the Lake Patrol. \n\n Contact person is Stephanie Scott\, Chair of the Oklahoma Water Safety Committee.
