DESCRIPTION;CHARSET=UTF-8:For more Downtown Edmond Arts Festival events to to \n wimgo.com...Edmond's Arts Festival Children's Area\, \n Edmond Arts Festival Art Alley\, etc. \n\n Enjoy strolling through downtown Edmond while viewing \n fine arts including paintings\, sculptures\, photography\, \n jewelry\, pottery and more from over 100 artists from \n several states. There is a children's area and award \n winning food including Indian tacos\, catfish\, kettle corn\, \n corn dogs\, ice cream and more with tables and chairs \n with lots of shade. \n\n Award-winning painting & photography professor from \n UCO\, Dr. Bob Palmer will be our "Celebrity Artist" during \n the 2008 Arts Festival. He will be painting a mural on the \n Weather's TV building's north wall along with an original \n painting that will be sold at the festival as well as \n numbered prints. Posters & t-shirts of the original piece \n of art will also be sold. \n\n Pepper's Ranch is the 2008 Arts Festival charity. \n Free admission. \n Location: Broadway North of 2nd Street \n\n Extra Info: Due to Health Dept. & Liability issues\, \n no animals will be allowed. \n Downtown Streets will be closed beginning \nMay 1 for pedestrian only traffic.
